Chicago Zephyrs Sign Professional Contracts         Shortly after the June amatuer draft 2 of our Zephyrs players signed professional contracts with the Northern League.  Kyle Kobernus signed on to pitch with the Gary Rail Cats and John Toussas signed with the Schaumburg Flyers.  We wish them both the very best and they will be greatly missed in our dug out. Zephyrs to compete in CABA World Series The Chicago Zephyrs will represent the Illinois area in the CABA 18 and over World Series.  They received an automatic bid by virtue of winning the qualifying regional tournament this past June with a 3-1 record.  The tournament is set to take place in Fort Wayne, Indiana August 7th thru the 13th.  Check back for more tournament details.
